Atlanta, GA USA - January 21, 2004 - The United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued ThinkSmart Performance Systems its first patent (No. 6,687,485) for the release of the 2Work! Electronic Performance Support System (EPSS). The 2Work! EPSS supplies users with custom information they need, when and where they need it, without the user having to ask or search for it. As a content delivery system, the 2Work! EPSS guides users through processes that span multiple target applications.

The patentability of the software lies in the fact that the 2Work! EPSS uses web technology to deliver true context-sensitive assistance with any HTML-delivered software, including self-service websites and portals. "Because of the technology, our software supports the broadest possible range of web-delivered applications - from home-grown, internally developed systems to the globally prominent solutions," explained Dr. Rosalie Hopkins, founder of ThinkSmart Performance Systems.

As a veteran of large-scale software implementations, Dr. Hopkins sought a tool to ease the pain involved in upgrading ERP and CRM systems, a process that takes place about every 18 months. "I was looking for a way to maximize the utility of the documentation and training development effort and promote the acceptance of newly implemented or upgraded systems," stated Hopkins. Unable to find a robust suite of tools that would fill the need, Dr. Hopkins formed ThinkSmart Performance Systems.
